Director of Customer Success

At ThankView, we take our clients’ experience with our platform and our company seriously. Our Customer Success team is committed to providing a world-class overall experience that delights our clients. From the moment our Implementations team gets our client onboarded on our platform, our Customer Success team takes the lead in engaging our customers to ensure positive outcomes using ThankView. The Director of Customer Success will lead our growing team of client advocates, ensuring the highest quality of service and strategic support. Product adoption, expansions and renewals, as well as gathering critical client feedback about our platform and services fall under the purview of our Customer Success team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Manage the team of Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Renewal Operations staff to maintain high customer satisfaction levels (75%+), adoption, expansions, and ultimately, retention (90%+).
  • Hire and retain exceptional team members
  • Expand our list of referenceable customers
  • Own our client-facing Success processes, policies, playbooks, and values so as to deeply integrate ThankView into our clients’ everyday work lives
  • Articulate and document internal processes to create a scalable infrastructure for our Success team
  • Serve as the liaison between the Customer Success team and the rest of the organization
  • Influence the direction of the ThankView platform, creating an efficient channel for funneling customer feedback into the Product organization while empowering the team to proactively help customers understand how we’re working towards solutions that meet and exceed their expectations
  • Empower the team to act as advocates for the customer, quarterbacking the solving of complex problems within our organization and escalating when appropriate
  • Work with Support to develop and refine a process to flag and resolve requests by key accounts - bugs, product gaps, wish list items, etc.
  • May involve handling sensitive personal data

YOUR QUALITIES:

  • Strong leadership skills with the motivation to inspire both our clients and your teammates
  • Highly organized - a project management background is a plus
  • Process improvement experience
  • Ability to understand the features and use cases of the ThankView platform
  • Empathy for who you work with; you identify with their challenges and your desire to delight shines through in your communications
  • 3 - 5 years of customer success or account management with a technical (SaaS) product
  • You have at least 1 year of management experience
  • Comfortable operating in a small but growing startup environment
  • Experience utilizing Intercom and Salesforce a major plus
  • The capacity for creative problem solving
  • Experience with advocating for your customers’ needs within an organization and driving to solutions
  • Ability to use data and statistics to identify patterns and generate recommendations for process/product improvements

Customer Success Manager

We are looking for an organized, energetic, on-top-of-it, go-getter to grow our customer success team. You will be the maître d for ThankView, the front-of-house when it comes to communicating with our partners about our brand, product updates and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will forge a relationship with each and every ThankView partner and guide their usage to produce the best results possible. Through outreach and analysis of a partner's calendar, you will propose new opportunities to utilize ThankView for future outreach. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, kind, personable, patient, empathetic and eager to learn. We are a small but mighty team, and are looking for great collaborators and trustworthy teammates!

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Delivering an awesome customer experience through ThankView’s communication channels
  • Thinking creatively about ways in which we can engage and optimize each customer’s experience and communicating these ideas to the ThankView team
  • Creating innovative moments of surprise and delight for our customers
  • Forging, growing and maintaining partner relationships
  • Pulling together customer data and feedback through reports and analysis
  • Relaying customer’s experiences and feedback to the rest of the team
  • Being the ultimate problem solver, always thinking creatively and leaving the customer smiling
  • Suggesting proactive solutions and opportunities to each partner based on a deep understanding of their needs and yearly calendar
  • Upselling partners on useful upgrades, expanded features and more

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

We are looking to add a talented, self-starting, and high energy SDR who will apply their skills and experience to drive revenue growth in our New York Sales team. We are looking for a strong communicator with a desire and drive to succeed in a rapidly growing and innovative environment. We value creative, dedicated and intelligent employees. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Reaching out to new prospects via ThankView, email and phone
  • Introducing ThankView to prospective clients while learning more about them, their company and their needs
  • Tracking conversations and analyzing opportunities to then pass along to the closing sales team
  • Doing research on companies to determine decision makers or hidden opportunites
  • Working across the company to implement new product features and functions using information from prospect conversations
  • Travel! You'll be traveling around the country (nah - the world!) at conferences and conventions to introduce ThankView to our customers
  • Collaborating with the closing sales team to set up opportunities that you both can close in the form of new business.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE IS:

  • Optimistic. You will face rejection in this role. No getting around that. But this is a game of averages; the ideal candidate believes that the glass is half full and will work through failures to find happiness in their successes.
  • Consistent. Much of this role involves staying organized and following up with people. The more you can stay consistent in your habits, the better you'll succeed.
  • Ready to Learn: You'll gain important sales training in this role as well as learn how a startup operates. The ideal individual for this role will be hungry to learn and get feedback.
